Street Art Competition

Mauritian Visual Artists
In the context of the International Day for Monuments and Sites to be celebrated on 18 April 2022, the National Art Gallery is inviting Mauritian artists to participate in a Street Art Competition. The proposals may comprise site-specific artworks, murals, urban furniture, signage, outdoor sculptures and other street art expressions that will be installed in the Heritage District (buffer zone) located around the Aapravasi Ghat World Heritage Property in Port Louis.

Or can be collected (hard-copy) as from 7 October 2021 at the reception of the National Art Gallery on weekdays from 09 00 hours to 12 00 hours; 12 30 hours to 16 00 hours.
Deadline for the submission of application forms – Monday, 17 January 2022 by 16 00 hours latest, either by:
- email :natartgal.info@gmail.com; or
- by Post or hand-despatched in a sealed envelope with “Street Art Competition” clearly written on the top left corner of the envelope, to the National Art Gallery.
